Volume 2, Number 2, May 2005Contrasting clinical and cardiovascular risk status between early and later onset type 2 diabetes The prevalence of type 2 diabetes (T2DM) is increasing rapidly and the age of presentation is falling. These changes are likely to be linked to the current obesity epidemic.
